Tina James for Whistler Council How to voteVote

Thank you, Whistler.

The vote didn't go my way this time. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, volunteered, shared a post or stopped me in the village to talk.

Whistler still has real challenges ahead. I'm not going anywhere. I'll keep standing up for people, for our bears and for the land we share.

Follow my bear work at BearKind. You can also find me on Facebook.

Privacy

This site has one form: the voting-day reminder. Here is what happens to what you give us.

What we collect

  • Your email address.
  • Your name, if you choose to add it.

We don't use ads, tracking or analytics cookies.

What we use it for

We send you one email on voting day, Saturday, October 17, to remind you to vote. That's all.

We won't add you to a newsletter. We won't sell or share your email.

When we delete it

After voting day, we delete the whole list.

Want off sooner? Email tina@tinajames.ca and we'll remove you.

Who holds it

Tina James holds the list, as the candidate and her own financial agent.

It is stored with Supabase, a database service, on servers in Canada. The website is hosted by Vercel.

Stopping spam

To stop bots, we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address. It is hard to turn back into the address. We delete it after two days.

If the form sees bot-like activity, it may ask for a quick robot check. That check comes from Cloudflare Turnstile.

Your rights

You can ask to see, fix or remove what we hold about you. Email tina@tinajames.ca.

B.C.'s Personal Information Protection Act gives you these rights.

Back to how to vote

Whistler is on the shared, unceded territory of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation. I believe in truth and reconciliation.
